Style- Surreal

Some adverts use the 'wow' effect to get their product across and make their advert stick in peoples minds for a long time. The Cadburys Gorrila drumming is a surreal advert because you don't even know what the product is till the end of the advert when it is revealed it is a chocolate advert and makes people remember it because a Gorrila playing the drums has nothing to do with chocolate. Cadburys chocolate is already a well known product so the company does not need to persuade you much to buy the product but instead is advertising the product. It is trying to appeal to a audience of basically anyone who likes chocolate and by using this sort off advert makes the chocolate memorable.
